Exchange data for token

Overview

Exchange your data for a reserved token, making the token permanent. This completes the token reservation process by associating actual data with the temporary token.

Authentication: Required (Authorization token obtained from the step)

Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded

Request Parameters

Use Case

This endpoint is used for direct data exchange when uploading plain text or small data payloads. After reserving a token and retrieving the temporary token details, submit your encrypted data along with the temporary token identifier. Once the exchange completes successfully, the token becomes permanent and can be used to retrieve the data later.

Privicore encrypts the data with its own key, then routes it to all devices registered under your profile, where it receives additional device-layer encryption before storage.

Data should be encrypted by the application before exchange
The temporary token becomes permanent after successful exchange
Exchange must occur before the token's TTL expires
For large files, use the stream upload method instead
